St John’s Lake Bathurst is the oldest surviving functional building in the district south-east of Goulburn. It has attracted many artists over the years who have been enchanted by its simple charm and graceful dignity.
The latest depiction is by Megan Beit, the daughter of priest-in-charge, Tom Frame. Megan has worshipped many times in the church and her son, Jonathon was baptised in St John’s in January 2020.
